I used 2 samples of my recent sample pack to create a nice ambience with generative techniques in Bitwig. 

I tried to generate some drum & bass sounds + patterns inside the grid (no samples)

With this preset, you can generate predictable note sequences in the device chain. Add your desired vst or synth and have some fun. In the video, i explain how it works!

• you can add instruments after the preset (no need to nest it in the fx box), it behaves like a native note device and needs a note as an input.
• when you group the device (ctrl+g) it creates a note fx layer device. so you can output multiple notes at once for chords (utilize the "semis" remote)
• bend added for swing
• scaler devisions for speed settings
• note pitch shift added so you can alter the pitch of notes

This is a 3h video of bitwig generating music.
The patch is generating new patterns & notes every 32 bars. Its only this Bitwig patch, nothing else. You can influence the notes by changing the note range remotes (left position plays only one note, right position plays big range of notes). 
The "bass range" is after the note range. So if the "note range" is low, the "bass range" does nothing. 
Melody changes the melody a tiny bit, but middle position is always the original generated melody (nice to turn up from time to time, to get a bit different notes)
The patch is influenced by the global bitwig shuffle setting, so play around with that. The CPU load is heavy, probably because of the DICE modules. There are some external Bitwig fx used for the melody reverbs (hopefully the routing is not messed up).
It´s maybe a nice starting point idea generator for techno house tunes. There is no stop Button  (but hodl! when you like the sequence)

Melodies are more or less random. The pad fades in and out every 32bars, percussions aswell (alternating). I also added some remotes to control every instruments loudness. download in my
