If macOS blocks the package
Signing and notarization can differ between releases. First confirm the download came from this site and matches the provided checksum. If macOS cannot verify the developer and you trust the package:
- Try opening the package once, then dismiss the warning.
- Open System Settings > Privacy & Security.
- Find the message about the blocked installer and choose Open Anyway, if offered.
- Authenticate and confirm opening that package.
Keep system security enabled. A damaged download should be downloaded again.
Updating
Close all plugin instances and run the newer package. If your DAW still loads an older version, check for duplicate bundles in your user-level plugin folders and rescan.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | What to check |
|---|---|
| Plugin is missing in Bitwig | Check the CLAP and VST3 scan paths, then rescan. |
| Plugin is missing in Logic | Check the Audio Unit in Logic’s Plug-in Manager and validate it again. |
| Switching latency modes | Stop the transport before switching between MASTERING and ZERO LATENCY so the host can recalculate delay compensation. |
