Linux Installation

The Linux archive includes CLAP, VST3, LV2, the standalone application and an installation script.

Download .tar.gz · v0.1.5 Back to Downloads

Extract the archive

Download polarity-meq-X.Y.Z-linux-x86_64.tar.gz and close your DAW. Replace X.Y.Z with the downloaded version:

tar -xzf polarity-meq-X.Y.Z-linux-x86_64.tar.gz

Open the extracted directory that contains install.sh.

Run the included installer

chmod +x install.sh
./install.sh --help
./install.sh --system

Follow the script’s prompts and approve elevated permissions if requested. Select CLAP or VST3 for your DAW. The included help lists the options supported by that release.

After installation, start your DAW and scan the plugin destinations reported by the installer.
