In this video, I recreated the classic CamelCrusher plugin inside Bitwig Studio. CamelCrusher was a super popular plugin back in the early 2000s, often used in techno and drum and bass tracks for creating dirty overtones. Some of you asked me to replicate it, and I focused mainly on the two distortion algorithms—Tube and Mac. I tried my best to replicate these using Bitwig's tools, although I left out the compressor and preset-saving features for simplicity. I’ll walk you through how I did it and compare my preset to the original plugin.

• Hard Clipper Added: I included a hard clipper to limit the signal at 0 dB and create extra distortion.
• Sound Comparison: My preset gets close to the original CamelCrusher, though not a perfect phase-cancel.
